Yoga – Basic poses and a simple vinyasa (flow) style are utilized to open and strengthen the body. Alignment, self-awareness, and balance between effort and ease are emphasized throughout the practice. Although the focus in this hatha yoga class will be on the physical body, breath and meditation do play a role. Yoga is appropriate for students ages 6+

Pilates – Pilates is a core-strengthening workout inspired by yoga and ballet floor-barre. Pilates will aid in increasing flexibility, toning muscle, and improves posture. All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged with the goal that each student will have an amazing workout through personal modifications and advancements. Students will acquire complete control of their body and enhance their ability to excel in other workouts. Pilates is appropriate for students ages 8+

Acro – This class uses acrobatic moves to build strength, flexibility and coordination. A great class for hip-hop students! Ideal for students’ ages 10+

Capeoira – An afro-Brazilian martial art that founded the movements in break-dancing. This class builds upper body strength, flexibility and is also a great supplemental class for hip-hop students. Ideal for students ages 10+

Zumba – Zumba is a fast paced dance party for kids and adults! Inspired by latin dance movement, Zumba makes cardio-fitness fly by with easy to learn dance moves and an encouraging, comfortable environment. Ideal for students ages 7+
