Jacquey Anne Julio
Jacquey Julio is an avid multi-disciplined dancer and choreographer. At the age of six, she was trained in Jazz and Ballet with the competitive Shaw Dance Studio from Sunset, Utah. When living in North Las Vegas, Nevada, Jacquey performed Filipino Traditional dances with the Philippine American Youth Organization as well as Filipinana Dance Troupe of Las Vegas, and later working with Club Filipino under Donald Verde while in Washington, DC. Having been participating in multiple Lu’aus over the past six years, Jacquey now performs Polynesian dances regularly at the Tiki Terrace restaurant in its weekly dinner show in Des Plaines, IL.
Jacquey began her Hip Hop career, dancing and choreographing for Groove Theory at Georgetown University. In Chicago, she has danced with StereoPhonix Dance Crew and is now a member of the Puzzle League. Jacquey is also a company member and dance captain of Culture Shock Chicago, under the artistic direction of Chris Courtney and Eilleen Mallary.
Jacquey loves learning and is passionate about improvement and growth. She is a strong believer that practice makes perfect, and becoming better starts with the want to be better.
